Oak and glass is our most requested combination – the warmth of solid oak alongside the light, open feel that glass balustrading brings to a staircase. It works equally well in a period home looking to modernise and a newer build wanting to make a statement feature of the stairs.

We offer oak and glass renovations in two ranges, so the finish can match your budget as well as your taste:

**Signature Oak & Glass** – our handrail is hand-crafted in our Dorset workshop from a single piece of oak and 10mm wrapped oak newel posts. This is the range to choose if you want a genuinely bespoke handrail with no joins or engineered sections.

**Classic Oak & Glass** – uses a factory-made engineered oak handrail, paired 3mm wrapped oak newel posts. It gives you the same oak-and-glass look for a more cost-conscious budget, without compromising on the glass itself.

Whichever range you choose, the glass is always 10mm toughened glass, fitted to current safety standards by Nick and Imogen and with the same excellent level of customer service we have always offered.
